THE year 2011 just passed and looking at it.. there is so much to be thankful for.. its up to us to make the change.

here are the things that i,m thankful off:-
1. I'm thankful for the time of togetherness with my family . This is the first time ever that we are together accept for Aishah.
2. I'm thankful that god gave me a year to be with my family that i love so very much.
3. I'm thankful that my relationship with my sister has improved this year ( i'm smilling right now)
4. I'm thankful that my family had a wonderful health this year.
5. I'm thankful that moved in to my wonderful house and meet a lot of good friends along the way.
6. I'm thankful that my career has been well last year and there is alot of changes happening at my work place ( positive things)
7. I'm thankful to see the smile on my mother's face when she saw the whole family gets together smilling during christmas this year.

i will keep on adding things that i'm thankful from time to time..

A few weeks ago something happen between me and a good friend of mine. She was about to go back to Bintulu after 4 years of study leave( u know who i meant right), but towards the very last week, we ( its was not we, coz i was not angry) she got so angry with me for one particular reason.

If you are reading this.. honestly i have nothing against u. I never devide my friends into categories .. all my friends are good freinds and i love all of you dearly. But i think we should support friends in times of trouble and i think she need us at this juncture coz she is having a hard time dealing with her divorce and the lost of her career. I was there for you when you need in lying down in the hospital feeling so helpless, not shutting my eyes even a minute coz i know u need me the most and yet you have the guts to say i never supported you all this while.

What crumbles me most of all is how everyone treat as if i'm the bad person ,when in fact the only thing i did was wanting nobody to be left out. nobody to be left behind. What would u feel if someday , you are in a bad situation and everyone ditch you behind.

Maybe i would sound so arrogant or selfish for not going with all of you during the weekend but i believe at least she is not left behind alone.. at least im left behind too and she wouldnt feel so bad. Don't get me back to the time how everyone cheats me and stab me from behind and you were one of the culprits, how hurtful i felt after all the years i've invested in our friendship. You told me you did it because you didnt want to take sides but u did.. at least this time round i didnt take anyone side, i didnt take yours and i didnt take L's side either.

I hope you would understand me. I care and love all my dearest friends and hurting each one of you means its hurts me as well but i have to take my stand .. nobody should be left behind. NOBODY SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE. Another friend of mine explain that , she have the right to choose who she wants to bring coz its her apartment and her weekend but is it to the expense of leaving another friend behind. What if that person is you........ what if the person that was left behind is you.. wouldnt you feel hurt.. OOHhhhhhhhhh never mind we wouldnt tell her.. if she doesnt know wouldnt hurt her.. what if she knewwwwwwwwww.

Think about it... what if someday the one left behind is you..

Sometimes i wonder, what are we aiming for in life.. a good life.. a big house.. a nice car or even as many children as possible.

Then it get me thinking.. im paying almost a thousand plus for my house for a long period of time and it strikes me.. how much am i paying until i can call the house my own. Then i start calculating and OMG im going to pay almost double what i loan for the house.

Even with the Government load, i still paying double the amount,, ... and it prolong as long as i live. , What if i die early.. then the house will be paid in full and the person benefited will own a fully paid house., but as long as im living , i am liable to pay for my house hehehe.

Have you ever think about it.. how our lives tangled with all these depts. ahhhhhhhh.. how can we stop this feeling. No debts .. means no house, no car .. no nothing.. well not entirely nothing but no higher puchase asets.

How can i add to my income , so that i can be free from all of this........... think allan think.

I was checking my students ( PITO) class today and one of them put their ic no in front of the report and my god these students are born in 1985 hehe. wow i was 17 at that time . i was doing my spm when these teachers are born and now luckly im teaching them.

Now i feel like an old haggggggg.. hehehe but to my surprise ,.. they look alot older than me ( aduh perasan la ni).

I guess the riddles is soooooo right when it says " needles and pins , needles and pins, when a mans married, his trouble begins.

I just got news today that my name was mentioned during the graduate school meeting last week, i was one of the students that didn't activity partake in my studies. I admit that recently i am really really off tract especially with my work ( my pile up work), my residence ( how troubled it has been lately) and then my studies ( how i am procrastinating my studies , just because I'm paying myself).

I felt that life is taking so much of me. This doesn't include my personal problems that I'm dealing with.. another comes another problem one after another. GODDDDDDD HELP ME. Everyday I'm praying for strength and wisdom, hoping that god would look upon me and guide me to a better me. Sometimes i felt waking up in the morning without any clear view of what i want in life. Have u ever felt hopeless and that your life has no meaning at all. Waking up in the morning asking yourself what is your purpose in life and what can you bring to make the world a better place, when everything crumbles.

I need to slap myself in the face and shake me up.. Allannnnnnnnn.. wake up !!!!!!!!wake up. !!!!!!!!!!!! pull yourself together. Compare your life with other people , you are farrrrrr better. so suck up and do nottttttt i repeat do not do this to yourself again. Be brave and pray for God's mercy everyday.

So, as i am writting this now,.. i will pull myself up and do the best that i can. No more procastinating and no more aliby. NO NO NO. no more .

Last wednesday i went to Macy .. as usual when i'm bored i would just drive down to Macy and see whats the latest promotion.. sometimes i found a good bargain and sometimes i left empty ( but thats most of the case lately... nothing interest me nowadays.So to continue my story i end up buying some white organza ribbons . .. now thats a bargain. Actually i bought it for my Christmas tree. So yesterday i got a call from Diding and we end up talking about my ribbon from Macy.
Normally by this end of the year we would be busy discussing on our own Christmas Tree and our Christmas decoration, but its different ... this year i still can feel her emptyness.. her sorrowness and i wouldn't say that it was pain.. its more like .. a minute too late .. a gift that was taken away and a hope that was shattered. Guess that happens when you lost someone special in our life.. It changed us and it changed facing the world everyday. So i told her that life has to go on. we cannot just stop living because someone died. It wouldnt be fair to us and people around us. For me a death is not an ending of ones life but and extension of our love and gods love. If we look death in a different angle knowing that we wouldnt never meet again , then means we push the belief of everlasting life.

My dad died 43 years ago but i has always hopeful that one day.. i will meet him again. i know i would and i believe i would. It was amazing how some of us perceived life and death ... good and bad , a step and an ending.

I'M SORRY FOR THE QUIETNESS BUT I'M BLOGGING AGAIN ...

Oh god, its has been ages since i wrote anything in this blog. I guess everyone is and was so caught up with Facebook and forget to actually write anything. As i said before, writing and blogging is actually a therapy but with the time consume and work related business i hardly have time to blog.

Oh gosh i have a lot to talk about, these last few month is just hectic with the work and so and so he he.

Oh btw, did i told you that early this year i was diagnose with slightly high blood pressure. LOL i guess its related to moving to the new house and hardly have the time to exercise or sexcersice hehe . I'm on medication since February but my aim is to reduce my weight ( but it seems to be increasing lately).

Ok, i write a bit more tonight.. i got a few things to blog ( some very interesting thing) and maybe i need to pour some of my concern and encounters hehe.

SORRY.. but i was so bz with the renovation for my house. I just did some basic renovation which is necessary because its crucial to do this , because if u did this later ,than you would have problem if u did it later. kotor sangat nanti rumah.

so, i do the plaster ceiling, minor renovation to my kitchen ( accidently bought the wrong hood) and do the electrical the entire house ( plus two socket for my additional aircond). i put cornish to all of my rooms too, it will be too expensive if i put up all plaster ceiling the whole house.

i also put up the walls at my living room. i hope its going to look nice. so here are some pics .

An interview ...i did???

Never would i imagine that someday i would conduct an interview for this 'U'. Well since last Friday , yesterday and today we conducted an interview for the officer post here in our faculty.

There were some good and potential interviewee and some bad ones too. That brings me way back to the time stepping my foot for the first interview right after I've completed my degree. The first interview was during my last semester , it was for a plantation company 101 Plantation and i did excellently that i was offered the job right and then but i was not really looking for another plantation job ( had enough of that) but that prick up my confidence that brings me to my next interview from a Singaporean Company that i also nailed it ( not knowing that it would be my nightmare job hehe). I was accepted on the spot just because i excel in oral interaction without looking at my knowledge in computer ( as it was a dot com company).

After quitting from ebbies.com i went jobless for a few weeks and that drops my confidence level during interview tremendously. I remember the worst job interview i had was with JPA ( jabatan Perkhidmatan awam) which i did well in the first half and the second half was a disaster right after the interviewer ask me " what consist of a nation". heheh

Today's interview is basically to see the English proficiency of the interviewee and how the correlate with the job we offer. Some of them seems to be very good in delivering thier opinions but funny because i remember this particular girl was shivering and u can hear her voice getting smaller and smaller, probably because the interview was fully conducted in English and probably she didn't do any revision before she came for the interview.

Overall i think the interview session was good.

Today my students did their poultry harvesting , its two class and both class got around 400 chicks to start with and by week 5 the chicken are old enough to be slaughter and i am busy planting my vanilla. Hopefully it will grow as i never seen a vanilla pods before.

The students finally finish at around 11 but i end up buying 2 chicks as it was slaughter poorly ( muslim ways). So i end up taking back 2 chick at the cost of RM 17.00 well thats cheap. Anyway i harvested some asparagus and invited fazila to come to my house to eat.

So she just came back and i'm full and hm what should i do tonite. boringnye mau keluar malas pulak coz if i go out for sure i'm going to spend money.. SAVE SAVE SAVE. HEHE i need to save for my house. Gosh its been a year of saving and how much i've saved.. not enough isk isk isk.

I called my house developer last week and finally i see some shade of good news. A lady told me that my housing area finally got its CF. God finally the long awaited news finally arrived. So now i have to pull up my strategy on what are the first thing that i must do.

1. Grill for the entire house- do i want to do all my house coz we have security 24/7 but then again is the security reliable. So tak pelah i need to put up my grill for security reason kan.. Nanti kena rogol pulak aku hehehe. tak rela u.

2. Plaster ceiling - this needs to be done before anyone comes to the house because this job is messy and if u do it later then u have another problem of debris everywhere the house. So ceiling check.

3. Then next comes the wall up on my living hall.. its a partition between the living room and the stairs. I think this should come with the plaster ceiling , so i'm going to ask the ceiling guy to include this in their quotation, hope it would be much cheaper.

4. Then i need an extra table to devide my kitchne and my dining hall.. the divider would be a small table ( bar) for me to so some work in the kitchen and drinks / liquor. hehe as if i drinks.

This will also include additional cabinet for my kitchen.

5. Last is the hood for my house. Ahhhhh i need this. i havent decide if i want to buy the big hood or the small one like lenu ( which i think doesn't work), so maybeeeeeee i'm going to buy the big one ( the suction is much better and it looks better too).

6. And the rest would be just some assesory for the house, but i still need an aircond for the living room, fan for all the room and a 42 inch flat screen tv hehehe .

So after that i got nothing else, the rest would just be an additional here and there.

A NEW CHRISTMAS TREE.

I know this sound very very very early but i've made a plan to buy a new tall and fat Christmas tree this year. I had a small one but what i really need is a tall, fat Christmas Tree. so this year i will save up a little bit of money and buy myself a big, fat and beautiful Christmas tree( its goes with the new house hehehe)

A month have gone by.. the Ramadan is gone and now its time for everyone to eat. Don't you notice Ramadan month is a actually where everyone gets fat and chubby. It seems that everybody is indulging thyself with all the fatty food just because they have been fasting the whole day and it makes it okay for them to indulge food more.

And the worst part is , the none fasting people are also indulging thyself because its the nice food sold at the Pasar Ramadan, and most of the time we eat because the fasting people fast and they eat alot and we tend to eat as much too and by the time we notice it.. everyone is FAT including me. ahhhhhhhhhh..

Lately i notice i've been very tired ( guess my body is getting heavier) but do u know what struct me the most... my picture in Tioman. Godddddddddddd i look fat. So from now on.. i make a pleadge to myself that i will run the least 2 rounds of 1.3 km jogging tract. I need to shed this fat ASAP. Its a battle but i think i can do it. GO GO GO. Well it doesn't hurt to be called the biggest loser when it comes to weight hehehe.

Sometimes i wonder, how the days and years slip us by without us knowing it. Actually we knew it but we never see the gravity of it.

Next year i will be turning 43 and what have i done so far that impacted people around me. I am still the same old me going round and round, still catching the glimps of life. If you ask me do i feel discourage by our outcome? I guess not coz i was also blessed with all the wonders in this world that God rendered upon me, but why do i still feel like there is a void that hasn't been filled.

Puhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......... i'm taking a deep breath. But life has to go on. Discourage I am not.... eager is something im waiting,love is yet to prove itself.

I had a nice chat with andy today.. its been a while since i chatted with him. Anne, if ur reading this , miss u alot la hehe.

Tommorow is a holiday, its Nuzul Quran and selangor is celebrating another holiday but not the other states, why ya. Why some other states in Malaysia got different sets of holiday and yet we are still One Malaysia (sort to say).

But anyway,.. im looking forward for another holiday. I need a good night sleep and i need it badly. Sooooooooo guess what im going to sleep early tonight and start my day fresh the next day. I never thought that sleeping would be a privillage until i continue my studies hehehe. I've always take for granted that a good night sleep is essential for my body until now ( i always sleep late every night now).

I use to sleep late also before but never like this, im mentally stress up. hehehe. okaylah i got to go now.

i just finish the installment for my adolesent child(my motorcycle)last month and wow that feels great. Now that my bike is no longger on my payrol means i have more cash at hand to spend. Well this month i was thinking of buying a vacum cleaner for my current and eventually my new house.

I have been thinking about it ever since but i think it was not the right time yet, now that my bike installment is already finish, probably i can buy one this month. hmmmmmm what brand to buy ya, my sister ask me if i want to buy the wet and dry, but then again do i need both coz my house all tiles.. so nahhhhh i buy the ordinary one onlylah senang sikit kan.

next month my kuru pun is already on the final month, so next month no more kutu to pay too . yahhhhhoooooooooooo.. but it does help if we got one heehe.

AYAM MASAK PUTIH BUGIS STYLE..

ohhhhhhh LAMANYA TAK ADA UPDATES, ANYway when we were small we use to eat this ayam masak putih (bugis style) and ever since i keep on thinking how nice would it be if i can cook it myself. So today i browse tru the internet and found this recipee.

So inday if ur reading this, here is the recipee. hope u like it and panggil aku kalau kau masak okay.

AYAM MASAK PUTIH (OPOR AYAM)
ekor ayam
santan (1 biji kelapa)
garam dan gula secukup rasa
sedikit daun kunyit
3 sudu besar cili kering yg dikisar
4 sudu makan minyak untuk menumis
2 ulas bunya lawang
4 biji buah pelaga
3 cm kulit kayu manis
4-5 bunga cengkih Bahan-bahan untuk dimesin:
2 inci lengkuas muda
2 cm halia
2 cm kunyit hidup
5 batang serai
5-7 biji bawang merah

Cara:
1. Panaskan minyak.
2. Tumiskan bunga lawang, buah pelaga, kulit kayu manis dan bunya cengkih.
3. Bila dah harum, masukkan bahan-bahan yang dimesin dan campur sedikit air.Tumis sehingga pecah minyak, kemudian masukkan cili kisar.
4. Kacau dan biarkan sebentar lebih kurang 10 minit
5. Bila cili dah masak, masukkan ayam.
6. Selepas 5 minit, masukkan santan, garam dan gula secukup rasa. Kacau sedikit dan biarkan sehingga ayam masak menggunakan api yang sederhana.
7. Apabila kuah agak kering, masukkan daun kunyit dan bolehlah dihidang.
Cadangan Hidangan:
Hiaskan hirisan daun sup dan daun bawang yang dipotong 1 inci panjang untuk bau yg harum.
Tambahan:
1. Kurangkan santan jika mahukan rasan yang lebih best.
2. Jangan selalu sangat kacau ayam, nanti hancur.
3. Daun kunyit dimasukkan sebelum lauk diangkat untuk kekalkan baunya yg harum.

Today i decided not to go back home for lunch, i found that resting inside my office is better than driving back home.

Tommorow i'm going to Cameron Highland with my Single friends here in KL. MY sister use to call us the Spinster Group as aka meaning unmarried woman or one who is no longer young( hmmmm blink blink) and seems unlikely to marry. Welllll...we keep on telling ourselves " we are single by choice or by no choice". Just imagine i got a friend in form 4 and 5 and now i think her children is out of University already with a degree and where am i..... I am still here, but as the Malays use to say " Ada ku kisah".

If i ask you does being married completes you.. i ask that question alot and yes i sometimes get some positive answer but most of the answer i got was.. its for the children. Sex or being together is not the prime thing in our marriage as our focus is raising up the children.

I once had an uncle who is full of life single and when he got married he seems not married coz i never saw him with his wife talking and the time i saw them together it end up in an argument. Sometimes i saw married people don't even talk to each other for days and months , well they maybe sleeping in the same bed but the soul is outside thinking about other things. He was a hardworking guy, his work attic was unbelievable. Working in the logging camp, he said he have to work round the clock, day driving the fork bulldozer ( kapiting) and being a jaga at night, finally he got sick of Malaria and died. Who care for him finally.... none , noone. His wife went back to Philipines to so.....????? card for his children, but she did came to see him but it was too late. So my uncle died .. broke but most of all alone. So tell me what are certainty that if you are married , you wouldn't be alone kan. Think about it.

It has almost been 7 months since this incident erupts between us and at this juncture it seems that, there is no reconcilation and that saddens me much.

But out of this twisted life , i discover something out of all of this. I realise that life is uncertain. I use to think that friends matters ( then i realise... nope there is always the back stabber ). Then there's the family....nop nop there is no certainty there too.. coz even when you feel that you are part of it.. but then looking at the big picture, you are still the person at the end of the big circle.

So........ now i know, what ever it is "I DEPEND ON MYSELF". No freinds nor blood would pick me up but myself. For somehow or rather i felt alone .....yes alone.

Being different

Coming from a small and neat family and having to grow up without a father at a very early age, frequently makes me feel inadequate for what ever reason. like for instance do “I look the look” or “do I act the act”.

I remember as a kid a cousin of mine told me how my body looks weird, as I was quiet a chubby kid growing up. It was not really a horror but I guess it was planted in my brain the being thin is beautiful, but as a kid I always know that I am different from people around me. I was never the bright one, was the popular one, never the good looking one, never the athletic one, never the most desired one, never the favorite one, never the elected one , never ,never, never ………..

The word “never” just rhymes with my name and myself that sometimes I gave up even before I tried because I always knew I would never get it or I would never accomplish it and the most hurtful thing that I would ever experience is “ I would ever be elected” Can you imagine, being a kid and realizing your limitation, how the world crumbles even before you stack your bricks.

It is still clear jilted inside my mind , sitting down on my chair , eagerly praying to God, God… God…… let me be elected to be the class monitor .. and the class take pull and elected Ah Chong the Chinese guy in the class again. Well, I would assume that since he was always our class monitor since standard one. Oh okay maybe being the class monitor is too big for me God .. please please let me be the vice monitor instead.. anddddddddddd that too was a disappointment. It was not really for the POWER that im searching for but it was more the recognition which I am lacking since I was a kid. The recognition to be heard , the recognition to be at the moment.

So if you asked me , how I did it.. how this kid that was a nobody before, become somebody today. What I say and do matters .. I don’t know but I believe my different ness was the major factor behind it. I was always the one that thinks, dress , acts differently than all the guys in the class. Looking back, I realize that being different is not always bad. God creates us differently from one another, and for a special reason Being different in the eyes of the world means that you are one in a million of millions of people out there , but you have to embrace it, because only when you do, it will lead you to a more greater things in life. My life is just beginning but everyday when I woke up , I always thank god for the wonderful things he have endure upon me, and I strongly believe that he have bigger and greater planned.

i just came back from my lecture today. ahhhhhhhhhhhh tired and still bleary.. of doing my proposal which should consist of my Chapter 1,2 and 3. I wish i could finish mine the soonest but by the looks of it, the process is so slow and i could hardly apply what i learn.

Anyway i hope that my decision of continuing my studies really for the better coz as for now i am having doubt if i am doing the right thing. Hopefully the first semester end and then goes the second semester and by a blink of an eyes i could finish my masters and start doing my phd ( well i hope). I remember the first time i continue my studies years ago , i was so asking the same question, so i guess its just a matter of giving myself some slacks and to be more focus on my work and my studies.

Yesterday when i came in the office i got a call from Carlina. I was told that one of our ex staff in Bintulu died of a heart attach. Memories of him come flashing through my head and it nearly bring me to tears.

Amir was a good and a very honourable guy, not only that hee is a very hardworking, honest, person but most of all he is a good friend. His death was a great lost to those people who knew him. I share a lot of good moments with him but the thing that i treasure the most is the table that he made especially for me. I requested him for a Japanese table ( well i was only hinting how i would love a Japanese table) and after a few days he called me up and showed me the table that he made especially for me( although i do have my saying on this heheh), but i felt so touch and that table was the only thing i took back from bintulu to KL when i got transfered here. A lot of people requested for that particular table but i refuse to give away it coz its was presented from a good Friend.

But what made me regret the most is, i didnt make an effort to meet with him the whole time i was in KL. I guess i'm too caught up with my work and things circling around me and now its too late. I tried to call the family but nobody answered maybe they are still grieving for him.

But, soon after that i called my sister to ask her if i could meet a person that i haven't talk for almost 5 years plus. I guess the death of my Amir made me realise how short and precious life is. I called up my mum to say hello too.. i need to do that more often from now on.

May his soul rest in peace and may the good lord keep him at peace amen.

Yesterday i had my first presentation for one of the subjects that i took. EDU 5813 Human Relation in Education. We were divided into groups and then eventually on the date proposed we are suppose to present our finding. FYI i was a bit late for the class so i listed my name under this group of 4 males ( 2 indian guy, 2 malay , one from Melaka that seems to walking with a stick and the other Sarawakian guy that halfway quit due to unforeseen circumstances.

BTW our topic was on School Culture and at first i was in vague with the topic.. this is new to me but i accept it with open heart . Soon we divided the topic in categories but after a few weeks nothing turns up because according to the 2 indian chaps in the group, they were unable to get any reference book because they do not have their matric cards.. so never mind, i borrowed some books gave it to them and then after a few weeks still nothing.

Then the next meeting there were no progress at all. so finally i got hold of a book and then give them the copies( well some of them did put some inputs too). What im pissed off is the Melaka chap always got his excuses every time we had a meeting and every time we had a discussion i ended up doing all the work. That is half of the story.. so finally i finish the presentation myself and spending my whole weekend doing it. After showing it to my lecturer and she agreed on it, and again dividing it into 4 sections hoping that everyone would understand and read on their respective topics.

I was suppose to do the introduction ( as it went well) and then when the Melacca guy presented he just foolishly read the whole thing and what i'm so pissed when it comes to the actual topic he just fast forward and skip the main topic. Finally the lecturer ask him about the problem and for him to show examples and he just stand there doing nothing ( as if it was not his topic), and then i end up answering for him ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh .

So, his presentation was cut off as our lecturer was not pleased with him presenting and now we have to redo our presentation. That's y sometimes i felt that its better that we do our own presentation on our finding so that if anyone to be blame or praise its us...... Hopefully the next presentation things would be okay.

I know it has been ages since my last update. Its not my life is too busy but there is no interesting things happening in my life lately. Although i had a promotion ( as what i have asked ) but still there is not worth mentioning.

Anyway i was surprise that , there was a few comments on my tag board especially on BOMBALAI. There was a few comments by Mr Joseph Chan ( Research Manager) and Mr Tony Ker's( Mill manager) son Richard and recently there was a site on Facebook dedicated on BOMBALAI exciting ha. I guess people from BAL estate still misses BAL so much and every time the name BAL comes out it always trigger their heart.

Anyway i will try to update this blog of mine as frequent as possible and hey i was thinking of writing a short book ( my memoirs) hehe as if my English is great hehe.

Im so busy now preparing thesis hoping that i can finish chapter 1, 2 and 3 within this 2 weeks. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Oh ya i just got some bad new but shhhhhhhh its a secret.

Weight Concern.

Yesterday when i was about to pack my things to go back home, the faculty were shock by the news that one of our faculty staff husband passed away.

According to the resources that I've heard , he just went inside the toilet and passed out, luckly it was the school holidays and all the children are at home. He was burried after Ishak at the University Cemetery. I gather the information that the late demise took an early retirement because of health reason.

i heard about this much about today, multiple diagnosis, on high blood pressure, diabetes , heart condition and many others. A week ago i was also shock by the same news from home, one of my staff in BAL died in his sleep ( i assume it is also something to do with his health or degree of stress).

That doesn't come to a shock to me, looking at the tremendous stress we have with our lives nowadays. The bills to be paid, Home bills , work related stress and the amount of garbage we put inside our body. You tell me, but do u notice, the amount of obesity we have right now. Do not look afar just swirl your eyes away a few feet or the person next to you. Out of 5 person nearest to you , 2 of them are overweight, that is not including if you see yourself in the mirror too. That's really-really alarming.

I have battled with my weight all my life, as i was born chubby as a kid. I always felt that i am not my best weight every time i look in the mirror. A month ago my weight comes to the max and i was a bit concern , i think it was the Quaker oaths i took with the condense milk. I ate that because i thought that its good for my health as they said the oaths will suck all the fat in our body , less that i know the condense milk doesn't help either. After eathing it for a few month i notice that my weight sky rocked and i nearly reach my highest weight 79-80 kg. I had a little trouble with my breathing and i notice sometimes i gasping for air.

So last month i took control of my life, so far i have lose almost 5-6 kg in just 2 weeks and i notice that i shrink in size and i buckled my belt an inch smaller. I don't have trouble with my breathing anymore and i felt more energize. One thing i notice too.. i like to see myself in the mirror more each day. What a relief.

A Professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it. He held it up for all to see and asked the students, "How much do you think this glass weighs?"

"50g!"... "100g!"... "125g!"... the students answered.

"I really don't know unless I weigh it," said the professor, "but my question is: What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?"

"Nothing happens." the students said.

"OK, what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?" the professor asked.

"Your arm would begin to ache," said one of the students.

"You're right, now what would happen if I held it up for a day?"

"Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress and paralyse and have to go to the hospital for sure!" ventured another student and all of them laughed.

"Very good, but during all this, did the weight of the glass change?" asked the professor.

"No" was the answer.

"Then what caused the arm ache and muscle stress?"

The students puzzled.

"What should I do now to come out of pain?" asked the professor again.

"Put down the glass!" said one of the students.

"Exactly!" said the professor.

Life's problems are something like this. Hold it for a few minutes in your head and they seem OK. Think of them for a long time and they begin to ache. Hold it even longer and they begin to paralyse you. You will not be able to do anything.

It's important to think of challenges and problems in your life but even more important is to put them down at the end of every day before you go to sleep. That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh and strong and can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way.

So, when you leave office today, remember my friend, to PUT DOWN THE GLASS TODAY!

Tension sangat hari ni. I withdraw some money to renew my motocycle road tax today which cost me around RM 300.00 after i told the lady to reduce it from nearly 450. After i paid it off i was so happy that i made some savings.

Then when i reach home, and i try to switch on my beloved car, it just woul'nt start ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh not the battery again. I just change the battery last year and now it spoilt again. So again i went to the same shop last year to ask for a price to replace it and he quoted RM 160.00 for a non liquid battery. PUHHHHH another RM 160.00 goes down the drain.

Pepandai je mr car ask for his share of my salary after i thrown some of it to my Bike. Benci benci. I told my friends both adik beradik nak duit bulan ni so i spend almost 500 for my car and motorcycle this month. tensionnye aku.

I just take it as Karma.. and believe that something good will come after this. I'm hopeful.

Today Salya ask me about death.. Her friend grieved over the lost of her mother and ask Salya about what and how she think and felt. She asked me the same question and this are my thoughts:-

DEATH IS NOT AN END.. DEATH IS A BEGINNING OF A NEW LIFE. I KNOW ITS SAD TO LOOSE SOMEONE THAT WE LOVE BUT WE HAVE TO THINK THAT HE/SHE WILL GAIN SO MUCH MORE COZ SHE/HE WILL COME TO ANOTHER PERSON GREATER THAN US. SO ITS OKAY TO GRIEF OVER DEATH BUT STOP THE MOURNING AND THINK ABOUT THE PRECIOUS TIME YOU'VE SPENT TOGETHER.

REMEMBER ONE DAY WE ARE DESTINED TO BE TOGETHER SOMEDAY , SOMEWHERE BUT UNTIL THEN KEEP THEM CLOSE TO YOUR HEART.

I have the tendency to write these last few days. I guess the urgeness i have come back to tell you my story and how i feel, my walks of life and the path im taking, or its just the seasons greeting that makes me feel gloomy.

Gloomy ke.. no its not gloomy, the weather is gloomy. I spend most of my time in the office nowdays to finish my Desk File ( File Meja ) as i targetted to finish it before this end of the month, means i have to do it during aidiladha holidaysssss, tapi kan its okay coz i got nothing going on anyway.

I will be coming back to Tawau this 20th December and coming back to Kl again on the 2nd January. Excited hellllll yea.. i got a new niece that i havent seen and i'm moving to my new house next yearrrrrrrr.. Looking forward for new things in life.

Over the past few years i've been thinking " is this what life have to offer me". What if i die tommorow would i be satisfied with myself with the accomplishment i had, or would i be proud of the things that i do throught my life.

Then it hits me,late last year. Being in the moment is important, coz having to analyse our life makes things more complicated. What i do today is what matters most of all ( i do not know if i would live that long anyway hehehe). So i started to make my life into a chapter and again deviding in into small chapters. I decided to make a long goal in my life which i jot it down in a piece of paper and then jot down my short term goals that i keep to myself. Oh and then work hard to accomplish it( For short term). For the long term keep it in mind but do not think about it everyday.. wait for it to happen but pray to god and always believe that it will only it takes a little bit of time.

In the secret, you were ask to do a wish list and to put it aside( hidden) and last year i did my wish list and true enough some of it comes true. For ones i finally bought a house which i wanted ( i wanted a small house which is near to my work place) i know why small , well i wanted a small one coz im a lazy bum and i hate house chores hehehe.

Second i wish silently that i will get a raised in grad( work) and i did well i had a great small surprise too i was anointed Best Employee of the year for my Faculty. Some great surprise ha.. As i said great things happen when we hope, pray and believe ( plus work hard for it too..., then when you did all that comes luck.

So, i'm opening up my wish list again this year to hope for greater things for the years ahead.

Im writting at my ISO office, waiting without doing anything for the auditors. But so far everything seems okay accept for some minor things.

The girls are all so tied up and uptight coz the lady keep on asking new thing....... ahhhhhhhhhhh another one more hour to go. lepas ni boleh kitaorang merdeka again. So far i've been here for a year plus and i undergo 3 Sirim Audit and around 6 internal audit.

It seems that next year, the audit will merge and we wouldn't be as busy like now.

Im so confused , warna apa nak paint my house, At first i was thinking of painting it silver , white and grey and then when i saw this pastel colours ahhhhhhhhhh terbuka pulak my heart nak paint pastels colours.

Lucky my house will be ready by next year so taklah i rush sangat and i can save a little bit of money to buy some more things for my house.

Btw i'm going to Bangkok this month end, i was thinking of getting myself a patung budha. I don't know what attracted me to it but it simbolizes serenity. I sure my mum will freak out when she saw that but tak pe.. its not a religious thing its just a symbol and something to decorate the house kan.

A STICH A DAY.

Remember when i said i got this Sewing Machine from my sister ( Oh yea i didn't mention it before he he )

Anyway yesterday i was so damn bored so i decided to open the box and try do something with the sewing machine. Actually its a long story how my sister got this sewing machine but and i knew it a long time ago... Inday if your reading this mesti kau tersenyum.

So here i am, trying to reorganize the threads and the needle and WALAAAAA its done and slowly i try to apply what i've leart so far from my short tutoring at my faculty a year back ( oh yes i did went for a short tutoring at my faculty but it was so breif i didn't even manage to sew anything but basically i got the basic how to do it)

And..... confidently i put down the pedal and push the needle down and it goes somewhat smoothly and after a few stitching it stops.. as if something stuck. I slowly lift up the needle and guess what the stitching is not happening and the threads are all entangled. Ohhhhhh god.

Then come the second try and still the same thing happen , and then the third , the forth and i found myself wasting 2 hours of my time doing the same thing over and over again. Gosh Tailoring is hardddddddddd.. After doing it for 2 hours Lenu came and we went to but some flower pots from the nursery ( i need to plant my herbs ie. my Thai basil and my Mint, followed by dinner.

When lenu left home i sat back to my chair facing my sewing machine and a light bulb goes up my head.. maybe its has something to do with the flow of the threads so i pull back all my thread and reorganize it back ( the instruction book was so brief it doesn't show anything ). There was a picture at the side of the machine on the flow of the thread , so slowly i follow the instruction and WALAAAAAAA again.

Slowly i push my piece of cloth to the machine and the needle goes up and down and surprisingly the stitches work. OH god i was so happy. SMS lenu and my sister all about it and took the cloth i bought like a year ago and start cutting the fabric and soon i was stitching my pillow cover.

So last night i end up with 2 more new pillow cover for a start. I was so happy with what i learn today and hey i think this is a new beginning for a new career hehehe. Next i was thinking of buying some high end fabric and doing my own cushion cover.

Have you ever felt hopeless kerana things that you cannot grasp. Thats is how i felt right now, thinking about how hard it is to cope up with ISO.

Our Audit will be next week and i betapalah aku rasa not ready to face it. Sometimes i just go blank not with the whole situation but with the little knowledge i have and with the attitude of some people.

On my behalf it is not easy especially knowing that my knowledge in ISO is so minimal. Tulah diorang ni, dulu aku di janjikan that the management is going to take action so that i will be send for courses but soon after the transition of bosses it became silent ( i pun silent.. i guess its partly my fault) and now aku pun tak tau apa nak buat dah.

Pending issues hasn't been done ever since and now i felf as if its burdening myself. I don't know whose fault it is but i wish i could pass this one day.

Entahlah if i could pass this i would but .. entah i'm keeping my fingers cross.

Sorry i haven't been writing for quiet a long time, there is so much going on with my life.. first its our first audit and then going to Kuching for Davidson ( Andy's brother wedding) and then going to langkawi to accompany Salya for some CID work and then comes the second audit and going back to Tawau for a week holiday and now im preparing for another audit in August.

That doesn't count our trip last week to lancang to visit Petra. Life is so hectic and sometimes i felt as if 8 hours aday is not enough.

Anyway, that's still ongoing and now I'm busy preparing all those NCR from our last year audit... ( Audit audit audit bosan dah aku dengan audit ni hehehe)

First when i came to this faculty i felt how good the structure but even how strong the wall of bricks is , there must be a fragile spot that needs a lot of improving. Just like us.. how we planned our life so wonderfully but by the end of the day life is still imperfect but we gonna have to make do, thats why i would rather let things to be unplanned rather than planned coz thing that unplanned brings much surprise to us rather than planning it so rigidly and by the end of the day we cannot follow or achieve our plans and that made us depressed.

But i wouldn't say that planning is bad, im just saying that planning should be a little bit loose especially when it comes to be dealing with your relatives and freinds that you really really care.

How worth we are with our job.

Do ever felt how you are not worth for the job ur doing kan.

There are times when i felt as if, i don't give as much as i can for the job i'm doing now. I guess i need some new excitement in my life. Everthing seems so routine, going to work everyday and then coming back, doing the same thing over and over again.

Oh btw i had a talk with a few collegue at the faculty today.. sebenda yang kita orang bincangkan adalah how we ( as in Malaysian) are burden with so much debts, even before we graduated. Just imagine some of us ( Including me lah) have to make our study loan and then before kita kerja we are already debted with the government. Dahlah rumah pun mahal, our car cost more than it really cost with and the tol, income taxes, the road taxes. Banyak sangat yang kita actually paying and money taken from our pocket when in fact , we shouldn't be paying that much for a car , a house and our study loan.

Not only that we have to study almost 10 years to earn a degree we are also burden with all debts. Wouldn't it be better if our education system is structured in such a way that, it doesnt took us that long to earn a degree so that not only that we minimise using the govenment money but we could start our career right away. Ini tak, dahlah our education system is structured in such ways that we have to undergo pra diploma, diploma and then degree and then should you continue ur masters and then PHD all and all to finish the whole education hirarky it took us nearly 10-12 years to graduate. Just imagine if one person spend almost 7k a month times by 10 year , how much would that person spend and by the time he could finish all his loan dah dah masuk kubur dah.

Entahlah, sometimes i felt our education system is so screwed up that we need an intervention. For us to restructure it to make it manageable without harming the quality of education.

Last week was a great week coz i just got my letter of approval for my House loan but i have to furnish with some other details like the Borang 4 and my May pay slip and soon it will be between the developer and the Ministry of Finance, but after that developer called up saying that i have to sign and pay the Lawyer fee to a total of RM2200.00.

On the first place in the initial plan, the lawyer fee is suppose to be waive but now i have to pay again. Betul betulah diorang ni tak faham aku. So I keep quiet saying that i'm going to pay this month end but giving me time to ask my other collegue from upm if she have to pay hers. Kalau dia bayar hers than i have to pay mine , but if she didn't , tak maulah aku bayar jugak.

I finally finish updating my File this morning. I've been procastinating it coz:-
1. I am not in the mood to do it, even dow its urgent.
2. I am still not sure how i want to do it ( what approach can I do, to make it simple for
people to access it.
3. Many things rushes to my brain lately.. macam berserabut kepala aku ni.
4. There are still some minor things that need to be updated.

So finally i finish doing it this afternoon ( tak keluar lunch lagi) but there is a few more things to furnish. hopefully by that time i can do it ASAP. The ISO gerak gempur is going to be very soon and i hope that by that time my files are all updated ya.

Next week i'm going to kuching. So practically i'm a little bz to prepare before i go off. AHHHHH banyak sangat benda nak buat.. the ISO lagi , the Club lagi , The permohonan kenaikan pangkat lagi .. apooooooo banyaknye.

I'm going to take 2 days leave starting tommorow until next monday. I felt beat out working rushing with the ISO and so many other things. I badly need a rest and to rejuvinate myself back and start afresh on Monday.

NCR Audit Closing.

Today,its a buzy day for me. This morning we have another ISO audit thing, which is such a hasle, Zairul told me this morning that their Department has been trying to get the ISO sijil for almost 10 years but still could'nt manage it. Well after the audit last month , this month we're suppose to decide whether we should close or let some of the Non Compliance records.

I'm still crawling myself and now i am the Internal audit Coordinator, penatnye buat benda ni, but i guess i have to kan.

Anyway hope things will turn possitively today. GOD I NEED A REST ingat nak beli ticket balik kg la. I want to go back to Tawau and have a week rest. I need it and owe it to myself.

40 a new life begins.

Did you manage to see Oprah last night. Its actually a rerun from the previous season but as usual its Oprah and one never goes tired watching. Anyway its all about Mid age crisis and how one deals with it.

Middle age begins at 40 ( kira betullah jugak when they said Life begins at 40). Some people believe that at the age of 40 your life comes full circle and at first i wasn't taken by the thoughts but then when i pull 40 last year , i began to notice that my life does goes full circle.

The Jews believe that as when we reach adolescence( for girls it when they reach the age of 16 and for guys it started a little bit late ( 21 to be axact heeh sebab kaum lelaki ni lambat matang ). Anyway after that age you life soon to change and you embraces a new persona for the world ahead. Thats is the age where you become rebelious, uncertain and trying to find yourself ( no wonder i sucks when i first belajar kat upm... everybody seems to hate me, coz i was this very bitter person and looking at it sometimes i wonder why Andy , Salya, Cornel and some of my dearest freinds likes me, but as times goes by and soon we realize how different we are from that person. I guess in my case, i was awaken by the thoughts that my freinds around me started turning to be the people that i hated and finally i realize that they actually became me, and it scares me.

My way of reacting and thinking ( i guess being fierce, rude , evil and Devil seems to be the exit before people critisizes me and hurt me). Once my mum ever told me to be gentle and soft ( which i felt redicolous) because she was the one that told me when i was a toldler to stand out for my own and to be fierce. Her thoughts somehow sticks to my head and now i realise what she meant. After 40 years old of living in this world i realize what my mum is trying to said, and now it open a whole new world for me.

My friends are closer to me, I become more calmer in doing my work and obtain great tolerence towards other people. I felt as if my life is richer now ( not in terms of money .. well i hope God grace me with that too) but in terms of grace. Life is not a battle for me anymore, i see life as a new beggining to me and i can't wait to wake up again tommorow morning to face another day.

P.S. Recently i found out that you can attract people by just being you, honest, gracious, fun, loving but most of all accepting ( this i learn the hard way , coz now i learn to accept people for what they are rather than what i want them to be). I learn that giving people a sincere smile and gratitude makes a whole lot different in the people around you. So.. everytime you see a person today give them a big smile and don't hold you smile back just give then the biggest smile you can find and see how they react to it ( anyway its a good exercise for your face too)

Prelim's Night Out

Last week on the 2nd May 2009 we had our first Prelim's bowling tournament in Mines wonderbowl. Seronok jugak we get together with the rest of the gang and friends. At first ramai jugak yang nak datang but towards the last minute everbody got something on. Anyway as usual the game has to go on and Donny and family came ( cute boy btw), Sahari and friends, Petra and cousin , Zairul and friend and of course me.

It was fun considering that all of us are amatuers ( not knowing that Petra was the grand winner for Jabatan Perhilitan CILAKA hehe).

Petra won first place ( as expected), then comes Sahari ( God Sahari.. this boy is so competetive coz he is so serius but atlast he only won second place hehehe) the third place was me and kitt sharing the same amount of total points.

Right after the Bowling game , we went to karaoke ( which my voice goes hoarse because of too much shouting at the bowling alley. Anyway it was fun, at least i got to see Donny for the first time in almost 9 years i think, but the best part of it , is sharing a game with good friends.

3rd of May. Pejam, celik pejam celik.. i am 41 without knowing how life just passed us by. But last year i made a wish list in a book and so far i have had what i wish for and but there is a few more that i am yet to receive.

This year, i am not gonna celebrate my birthday BIG TIME but i was thinking of accepting it internally. I realize that life is not about battle but life is about who we are and how we accept our self. One thing i learn over these past few month, celebrate life to the fullest and be thankful for all the small things happen in our life.

Somehow all things big in your life can be overcome if we only give it a big smile and be thankful for what god have rendered to us.

One thing i would like to thank is for my family and my health. Both i carry high on top of my head carefully so there is no spills. I'm thankful that i got my mum,my brother and my sisters for loving me dearly. To the rest of my family thank you for being here in my life.

To my Friends where ever you should be, either in KL, Sarawak or over the land and sea, thank you for being in my life. Thank you for giving me your shoulder to weep( sometimes) and thank you for enhancing my life.

But most of all i would like to thank God almighty for giving me yet another year to celebrate my life with my love ones and being able to serve him another year. thanks.

I went to Putrajaya last Thursday with my sister to clear up some personal matters in Parcel Z. Well as we all know Putrajaya is one of our great Malaysian wonders with all the nice sculptured building and garden but one thing i notice about putrajaya It had no parking space.

Do you know how hard it is to find a parking space in Putrajaya. They have a central parking in Putrajaya but is there any bus going round from one parcel to another. Gila kan i think the people in charge on Putrajaya should sit down and tackle this problem or else Putrajaya will be another crowded public area.

MY FIRST EVER DARTS TOURNAMENT.

Guess what i had my first ever Dart tournament and i would say i did well surprisingly. Well our University Sports Championship is still going on and will be ending by the 30th of April.

I was in 3 categories.. which is our Marching,Tug or War ( which we looses) and for two days we had out Darts championship. To my surprise i wasn't suck at it at all coz i was one of the underdog that could aim straight to the numbers ( Alah yang aku tau lempar je, sebab tak tau rules) when my staff tells me to shoot no 5 then i pun shootlah no 5 but hey surprisingly i can do it. hehe funny tell coz we loose one and win over with vet. hehehe. New things i discover about myself today.

Last Friday was another bz day, well my life have been bz last few weeks with the sports, the star gazing and our upcoming iso audit.

We've been practicing very hard for our marching coz for our sports opening one of the contest was marching. Wow last i did marching was in 1982 when i was in secondary 2 and i remember wearing shorts with singlet in the hot day but everything paid off when we won.

Well after nearly 27 years i got to do it again and its crazy... hehe its like coming back life full circle again. The trill the determination and most of all the commoraderie, it was intense. Its nice coming back to our main campus coz i got to do things i never got to do before.

Anyway guess what we won coz we are the 5th best group among 35 groups. According to my collegue , we never won anything since the sports day started but this year at least we got no 5, so they were really-really proud.

Anyway it was fun, just imagine there was nearly 1500 staff that night. Oh the story behind the colour.. actually the staf wanted black pants and yellow shirt and black caps but i changed it to chilly red ( but we cannot have the colour so we revert back to yellow) and white pants ( which they dont like it coz its kinda like transparent but i think thats the trick, we need white colour to be visible) anyway my instinct was right and we won the 5th place.

Didn't i mention i did my star gazing last week , at first i was poorly dissapointed with the turn out coz only around 27 guys list their names but then after the end of the week the numbers increased and last monday i send this :-

Selamat pagi Prof, Dr, Tuan-tuan dan Puan-puan. Seawal pagi begini saya ingin mengambil kesempatan untuk mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada siapa yang telah menyertai " MALAM SERIBU BINTANG STAR GAZING 2009" pada jumaat lepas 10, April 2009 di Kelab Golf UP.......

Kemeriahan dan penglibatan Tuan-puan amatlah saya hargai dan saya amat berbangga sebab ada sebahagian kita yang terlalu asyik melihat bulan dan planet sehingga sampai pukul 12 malam. Untuk pengetahuan sesiapa yang tidak sempat menyertai Star Gazing pada malam itu, kami sempat melihat dengan jelasnya Planet Saturn seperti yang telah di janjikan kerana bulan April 2009, Planet Saturn paling dekat pada bumi dan fenomena ini hanya berlaku setiap 4 tahun sekali, so rugilah sesiapa yang tidak dapat melihat keindahan Planet Saturn pada malam itu.

Walaupun hujan agak lebat pada awal malam itu tetapi pada pukul 10.00 malam hujan reda dan langit terbuka luas. Keindahan bulan susah untuk saya gambarkan di sini tetapi saya masih teringat ungkapan Dr. Maria Chong " The moon is so beautiful Allan".

I guess with the sports day,the internal audit, the star gazing,the finals and my course of being an insurance agent i hardly have time to rest nowadays.

This morning i have a class with the students at 8 am and at 9 am i have a marching practice for 2 hours and soon after that at 11.00 am conducted a meeting in preparation for my star gazing tomorow and at 11.30 i had another meeting with the sports commitee on our marching.

So, running from one place to another and one meeting to another meeting, matilah. Tonight my student doing a BBQ for their finals and not only i am invited im sort of like one of the commitee as well.

Life is hectic but thats how i like my life. Hectic and being over the edge. So my next big thing is to make it as an insurance agent. I know i can do it , its just a matter of doing it and wanting it badly.

Diding came over to my place for Maybank's short course so i ask her if she wanted to came along. Mula tu dia pun reluctant jugak, tapi when i told her "its one of the thing u do once in ur life"... i always pancing dia cam tu" hehe so she agreed.

Its a one thing that u do only once in ur life, like climbing up Mount Kinabalu hehehe. I swear i will only do it once in my life time. TAK MAU LAGI AKU. Overall i would say the concert is good ( i got to admit it they sound better onstage than on Tv after seing it twice on TV)

So did anyone notice us on TV. Well we were on TV just a skip. hehe at least nampak jugak kan. Go and see the concert again and look carefully u can notice us there.

3rd May...As what the Malays use to say.. HARI KERAMAT.

As you know... i will enter the 41 age very soon, approximately on the 3rd May as i was born on the year 1968. How aged can one person be. I remember when i was a kid, i always wanted to be older coz my idea of being older is Wiser and one can be taken seriously.

I was the youngest among us cousins back then and every time i open my mouth during a adult conversation everyone would give me a sinis smile and they end up leaving the room or just burst down with laughter, and that made me feel bad and so overconfident talking to people especially older guys. Throught the years i try to avoid being around older aged group as i cannot hold a conversation with them.

Zoommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............... after many years, i notice that when i open my mouth people would listen and what i said matters. Education and experiences totally changed my life upside down. Sometimes i notice alot of my cousins, relatives , friends and collegues had this probia talking in public or holding a conversation with older and more intelligent people but not me, but not me. I had reach a point where i just can make conversation as interesting as possible and as enlightening as i can, and by the end of the day i felt good.

So i guess being 41 is not all bad. We should celebrate and embrace our age and the wisdom that comes with it. So practically i'm looking forward for 41 and i hope it will bring much greater things and much higher heights.

last week me and Petra went to Seremban for a weekend holiday. Seronok jugak coz for the first time in my life i got to see a live Football match Negeri 9 verses Terengganu. One thing i can say about UPM football is that orang main bola ni malas, unlike The English Premier league, menyesal pulak masa kat London dulu tak jadi tengok English football. Oh ya i would like to thank Petra for inviting me .. thanks alot and lets go to PD next time.

Last Friday 6 Mac 2009 i went for star gazing at Sekolah Menengah Alam Shah Putrajaya mewakili my Fakulti. Its an introductory on the galaxy , planets and moons. I have the pleasure of taking mat ict along with me, At first dia tak mau ikut tapi after persuading him , he agrees.

Basically the night was fun and i learn alot of things , that i somewhat taken it for granted, and one thing i notice, kids nowadays are lebih pandai pada kita yang ketu di hehehe.

As you know i was in Langkawi for a short course on NLP ( Neuro Linguistic Programming) fromt the 27 until the 2 March 2009. Actually this is the second time i came to Langkawi, the first one was in 1993 masa i belajar dulu lagi, but it was a bad experience coz we have to camp out and collect twigs and sticks to make fire for cooking ( guess u know i'm not an outdoor guy ha)

Anyway Langkawi hasn't change alot accept for some new areas eg. Macincang cable car ( tak sempat naik pun sebab hujan), and some other shoping duty free shops(a heaven to smokers, drinker and chocolate lovers but i am none of the above hehe) so i wasn't really enjoying myself.

One funny thing i notice in Langkawi is that the Chinese non Halal shops got malay's name. Its different from KL, Bintulu or even Tawau, whereby the names is KingKOng Sdn Bhd, Or Sim Hua Seng Sdn Bhd. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.. very interestingkan and another thing i notice is that alot of Empty space non occupied shops. According the sources i heard , things are seasonal in Langkawi, eg, Tour de langkawi, Iron man and some others famous events but most of the time the island is very quiet, totally different from Phuket coz its party all year long kan.

This is a penalty after a short game we did, Guess what i forgot En shahruddin's name( ex UPMKB) , i guess i'm getting old ha hehe.

This is one of the most interesting course i've ever attended.

the class, almost 30 of us from different Universities. UKM, UITM and UUM. I found out there 2 lawyers , one from UUM and UPM. They're doing corporate for their respective U. Cool kan. What cool about this course is that u got to know people from other Universities other than your own.

Langkawi shoping spree mall hehe, I guess there is around 20 identical shops here and the most popular is mahsuri.. i forgotten the name, initially it was only a small shop then it develop and soon become a mall by itself.Most of it items are kitchen ware with all bold colours and printing, i'm sure u ladies would like that but not me coz i'm into plain plates. i just dont fancy those English flowery plates.

I'm going explain some things on NLP with the expression "JANGAN MEMBANGAU LAGI", i tell you all about it on my next entry.

Finally, i knew who was behind all the mess.. a few days ago. It was actually a misunderstanding between my name and one of the campus supplier ( who's actually a real ASS H..;

I was so pissed about the whole thing and confronted the officer. I did asked him who is spreading this rumour but he just wouldn't tell me. The out of desperation and despair i called up Sherry one of my friend in the campus and just when i was to tell her about my woes.. she said.. "Allan diorang ni salah faham ni" They mistaken the wrong person.

Obviously there were some tantrums among them with the supplier and after that the supplier spread some rumours about them. The ironic was, his name was also Allan and there is only one Allan in the campus and the thing pointed at me.

After clearing it with the other guy, everything settled and we even went out for lunch in Country heights ( guys next time we go to Country Heights) makan okay. Best jugak tempat orang kaya-kaya. hehe walaypun kita tak kaya kan. ahaks.

So,.. im glad my name is clear.. kesian jugak aku ni, semut merah.. diorang ni semut hitam heheh.

have to be honest with you that I can be pretty addicted to research. That is why whenever my friends send me interesting articles in the mail, I tend to search online and read more about it.

Earlier today, I received an e-mail with the subject "Something About Yahudi" from Cik Bit. I thought it'd be interesting to read, so I downloaded the word document.

Indeed, it was interesting. someone claimed that while browsing through some websites, he stumbled upon a thesis by Dr Stephen Carr Leon entitled "Why the Jews so smart". And this man, took the effort (more like trouble) to translate part of the thesis to the Malay Language.

I'm not gonna post the lengthy article here, but these are some excerpts of the article. For full article, just google, trust me, you can NEVER FAIL to find the so-called malay translated article.

Ketika tahun kedua, akhir bulan December 1980 dan sedang saya menghitung hari untuk pulang ke California saya terfikir apakah sebab nya kaum Yahudi begitu pintar? Di Israel, setelah mengetahui yang sang ibu sedang mengandung, pertama kali saya perhatikan ialah, sang ibu akan sering menyanyi dan bermain piano dan si ibu dan bapa akan membeli buku metamatik dan menyelesaikan masalah metamatik bersama suami, saya sungguh hairan kerana teman saya yang mengandung sering membawa buku metamatik dan bertanya kepada saya beberapa soalan yang beliau tak dapat menyelesaikanya, oleh kerana saya memang minat tentang metamatik, tentu saja dengan senang saya bantu beliau. Saya bertanya kepada beliau, adakah ini untuk anak kamu? Beliau menjawab, “ia, ini untuk anak saya yang masih didalam kandungan, saya sedang melatih otak beliau, semuga ia menjadi genius apabila dewasa kelak”

Seperkara lagi yang saya perhatikan ialah pemakanan beliau, sejak awal mengandung beliau gemar sekali memakan kacang badam dan korma bersama susu , dan untuk tengah hari makan utama beliau ialah roti dan ikan tanpa kepala bersama salad yang digaul dengan badam dan berbagai jenis kekacang, menurut beliau daging ikan sungguh baik untuk perkembangan otak dan kepala ikan mengandungi kimia yang tidak baik yang dapat merosakkan pengembangan dan penumbuhan otak anak didalam kandungan.

Di Israel, merokok adalah taboo, apabila anda diundang makan dirumah Yahudi, jangan sekali kali merokok, dan tanpa malu mereka akan menyuruh anda keluar dari rumah mereka dam merokok diluar rumah mereka.

Perhatian saya selanjutnya ialah melawati tadika mereka, Pemakanan anak anak tadi cukup dikawal, makanan awal ialah buah buahan bersama kacang badam, diikuti dengan menelan pil minyak ikan (code oil lever) Didalam pengamatan saya, kanak Yahudi sungguh bijak dan rata rata mereka memahami 3 bahasa iaitu Hebrew, Arab dan Inggeris dan sedari awal lagi mereka telah dilatih bermain piano dan violin, ini adalah suatu kewajipan. Menurut mereka bermain musik dan memahami nota notanya dapat meningkatkan lagi IQ kanak kanak dan sudah tentu bakal menjadikan budak itu bijak.

Kesimpulanya, pada teori saya, melahirkan anak dan keturunan yg bijak boleh dilaksanakan dan tentunya bukan semalaman, ianya memerlukan masa, beberapa jenerasi mungkin? Persiapan awal adalah ketika sang ibu mengandung, galakkanlah siibu melakukan latihan metamatik yg mudah tetapi konsisten disamping mendengar musik klasik. Seterusnya ubahlah cara pemakanan, makanlah makanan yg elok dan berhasiat yg baik untuk otak, menghayati musik sejak kecil adalah baik sekali untuk penumbuhan otak kanak kanak, dengan bermain piano dan violin sudah tentu dapat melatih anak anak mencerdaskan otak mereka demikian juga sukan yg memerlukan konsetrasi yg tinggi, seperti memanah, bola keranjang, dart dan menembak.

Selamat sejahtera dan semuga kita dapat melahirkan manusia yg bijak dan bersifat mulia untuk kebaikan manusia sejagat tanpa mengenal batasan bangsa.

I got a text today from our ex Finance Officer, He text me that he got some romour that i got him transfer to some other department coz of nonesense things happening in the faculty. I was so surprised.. WHY ME , WHAT DID I DO.

I hardly know anyone in the campus let alone talk about this matter. Who am i to talk about people in the faculty as i don't really know anyone. I guess i talked more to people in Bintulu then i talk to people in Serdang, and mostly i would only talk about things happening in Bintulu rather than people in Serdang since that i do not know anyone in Serdang.

What surprises me the most is that, they accuse me of things that i didnt even knew existed. Oh God!! Anyway i have talk our ex Officer and cleared things with him. Who ever spead this romours pleasela stop, i am just not in the liberty of taking a fight. Penat nak gaduh gaduh ni. I want to let my life in Serdang be as serene as i can be.

Tambah lagi pahala aku hari ni , orang dok mengata aku kan.

STAR GAZING

Gosh malasnye nak kerja hari ni, Oh btw im going to do a project "Star Gazing" in the campus which involve my Faculty staf. The night involves star gazing by people from the kementerian angkasa lepas and some contractor promoting their telescope.

Its is beleive that in April ( the second week) saturn is nearest to earth and it is most visual at night. The night will involve some slight show based on planets and stars ( what u'r expected to see) and we are going to organize some BBQ for the staf too. So watch out and see u there.

One funny story i had yesterday when i went for the La Tour De Langkawi, i arrive in Dataran Merdeka early in the morning konon tu to beat the trafiq la, and sambil sambil tu nak amik picture for my blog. I've havent been to Dataran Merdeka ever since year 2000 ke or prelim in 1993 lupa lupa ingat lah pulak, tulah bagus jugak this blog coz u got to remember the dates and whats going on.

Then as i was taking my pictures my battery kong pulak. I remember there was a shop lot just below Dataran Merdeka and when i went down all i could see is just parking lot and lots of them. So i went to the inquiry counter and ask " Abg macam mana nak turun pergi bawah ye kat tempat kedai-kedai tu" he smiled at me and said " Abg kedai tu dah lama tutup sebab banjir hari tu .. lama dah" OPSSSSSSSSSS malunye aku he he , terasa pulak aku ni orang kampung.. I did'nt know that. When did that happen coz i remember last time i had lunch below the Dataran. Anyway he suggested that i go and buy my bat at a nearby & Eleven shop..

Punyelah aku malu.. guys this is for those who is as ignorant as me .. the kedai bawah Dataran tu dah tutup , lama dah tutup dahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hehehe. Pesal lah Tun Mahadhir tak bagi tau aku ek hehehe. I bet some of the KL people pun tak tau benda ni, especially yang tak pernah sampai Dataran tu.
