Narrowing the gaps

Recently i guess everything seems to take its turn and wheather i make an efford of contacting my friends or the other way around but it seems that I seemed connected to alot of my friends this year and in particularly this month.

For one i have chatted online with Asnan Osmera Chung aka Tungau my ex roomate ,Petra Sulai my ex housemate and Zah from DKHP ( The girl with the big boozem hehehe ops sensor sensor) . I have also manage to get in touch with Ibrahim my ex cousemate who have been in silence for a long time and also Hubry Piasin who's now married and is recently a teacher in Keningau. Gosh its nice to talk to them again and catching up to old days and whats new in our lives. I saw Clement last 2 years in Tawau during the X'mass holiday and wow you've grown.

For those friends closest to my heart and myself at this moment fadzilah, Andy, Salya, Lenu, Sahari, Zafri, Syarifah and Saiful aka si Jelek i hope you guys stay connected. To all my other friends i hope you contact me soon, guys we need to reestablish our connection again and catch up for old times. Let bygone be bygone and lets start anew ( do we have grunches ke entah). Well what ever it is as the oldest in the family of friends in Prelim, Diploma and Bachelor i hope that we would instill our bridge again and catch up the years we've lost. If u read this leave a msg and i will contact u.

The purple wrist band

I guess by now you should know that i am an Oprah addict. I've always been amazed with the segments and topics that being discussed and portrayed. This morning is no exceptional, a topic about how people complain, and complain , and complain even more appears.

Have you sometimes wonder how some people likes to nag and complain from the littlest things to even the weather for example when you meet a person in the elevator, to break the ice you would say " Gosh the weather is hottttttt today" or " Gosh its pouring like hell out there". Have you ever wondered that the weather is not something that you should complain especially to people because it is something that only god can change? Instead why don’t you say “wow what a wonderful weather we have today" even when its so hot or pouring like hell.

Have you heard about the purple rubber wrist band? Its a wrist rubber band that says " Free Complain" which was started by this one pastor somewhere in the US to encourage his parishioners to stop complaining. The idea is to put the wrist band in your left hand side for 21 days without complaining. When you complain even to the littlest things than you should shift the wrist band to the other side of your hand and start over and when you broke the cycle again you should shift to the other hand again until you get it right for a complete 21 days.

This exercise allows you to reduce your urge to complain and eventually make a free complain world and build a more positive human being. According to the pastor they are giving this wrist band for free in most of the countries ( I think its just around the USA) and they are giving it by the millions. One funny thing that Oprah said was knows who she would give it to…. And it is actually one of her staff ( her make up artist) , according to Oprah her make up artist is a complainer.

So, why not take a challenge and try to immolate what they are doing and look on the bright side, we wouldn’t lose a thing accept for our habits. I will buy myself a wrist band tomorrow ( of any colour but I will find a purple one) and would try my best to follow the rules and see if I can lose one of my bad habits. If you are reading this why not challenge yourself too and see will it change our life and the people around us, as I said we got nothing to lose accept for our bad habits. Syarifah, Aishah ,Aaron or even anybody out there if you are reading this challenge yourself for 21 days FREE COMPLAIN and i am sure the end result would be a life changing.

Birthday Updates _ the BOSS

3 more days Andy and its going to be ur birthday. From now onwards i will never ask people how old they are, but how many good blessings that had. I would like to wish Dr. Andy Toda many happy return and lots of blessing for the years ahead.

Andy is a best freind a guy could ever had and i known him wow half of my life i guess. I remember meeting him for the first time i came to Bintulu, Gosh that was in 1993 (thats a solid 14 years of friendship Andy). He was much bigger and volouptous back then and i remember during the orientation week we hardly talk to each other coz the seniors are so damn arrogant to us but deep inside i knew he is someone special.

Andy if u are reading this , happy many return again and wishing you all the best in your future endeavour. Good friends like urs are rare like diamonds. Thanks for the many memories we shared and hoping the years ahead will be filled with more laughter and sweet memories.

Rotterdam

So do u remember a few days ago i posted some of my OLD FAMILY PICTURES and i mentioned that my sister would get furious with them.... well she did... ampun tuanku.( hello Pah this is ur terminology hehehe). My sister cakap jangan post gambar lama-lama yang buruk tu. Dia suruh post latest pictures especially masa dia kat London sekarang ,aduhaiii..... perasan betul my sister ni "Perasan canteklah tu ". So untuk tidak menghampakan permintaan dia , kawan-kawan , kaum-kaum keluarga inilah my sister dekat Rotterdam with her husband.

He: Yes. At last. It was so hard to wait.

He: NO! Don't even think about it.

Scary but happens.

Scary right when you think about it. But the actual event happen just last year in September 2006. One of our staff in UPMKB was driving around the Campus to make her usual round and suddenly her car skidded , collided and overturn. luckyly no body was hurt as the accident happens in front of the students college, thank goodness. The student came to her rescue and soon brought to the hospital. She was in trauma for a few weeks,who would't be, i would, but now she is fine and finally got her driving licence. Yessssssss... masa tu dia tak ada lesen lagi. Siapa nak jawap.

Pseudopregnancy

Do you remember the entry i made earlier this week about Fazila, the one saying that she went back to Kayelll. Yesterday she sms me this text:

Aku declare mengandung d check in counter ingat nak buat lawak. Trs dia mintak aku sign borang. Memandangkan muka gembira dia congrat, x sanggup , aku kata dia kena tipu. x pelah boleh aku jalan dulu, rugi kertas je dia photostate 5 copy. takut dsaman la tu delay sampai orang keguguran. next time if jumpa dia lagi and x beranak2 lagi, aku cakap miscarige.

Same things happen when we were in Miri last time. We were doing some shopping and out of the blue, she was asked if she was pregnant by the salesgirl , illa was a bit shock at first but then she just .... admit that she is. Oh gosh she was so embarrased when she finally told us the story and i was on my knees laughing.
