ditegur daripada orang yang lebih arif dan mengambil berat atas diri kita.

People Do Change

Sometimes when you think how people are so rigid with their lives and that no other power in the world that could ever change a person, then suddenly he/she change. Sometimes its either just a typical male chauvinist or that person is just a totally pig ass person.

But deep in my heart and in some cases it does happen that people change. It’s either for the better or for the worst. I had an experience with a friend my senior when I was in secondary school, this guy was in his last year ( 2nd year form 6). Now this person is those people who you would see going to the mosque all day long , having a tasbih ( a muslim rosary) all the time in his hand and looking at him mumbling something while his hands is going trough the beads. All of us was in Awe with him of how committed his was with God.

The after few years gone and there I was working in an Oil Palm and Cocoa plantation in Tawau. I was in my Second year of Cadetship and then I heard this particular name , newly engage by the company. The name sounds familiar, so familiar but I couldn’t get my hands to who this person was. Then I finally met him during this event. Oil Palm Estates normally have this annual event every year to commemorate the year passed and there I saw this one particular person. He was kind of familiar, but the difference was the tanned skin resulted of working to long in the sun. I smiled at him and after talking and introducing myself to him, I confirmed that he was the same guy back during my secondary school.

One thing that struck me was the way he dressed. This is the guy who used to wear the Jubah ( sort of like this long dress the Arabs use to wear) and suddenly at school all day long and suddenly was on T-shirt and jeans. Looking so haggard and unorganized. The worst was he was a chain smoker and talking so loud about the experiences with girls. Gosh what a train rack. I also gathered so information that he does drugs as well.

How does a man full of belief and focus could divert into this man full of anguish and pain. A riddle come to my mind maybe he gone through a phase in life or its just a shelter he put up of being hurt in his lifetime or maybe he mixed with the wrong crowd.

I guess for me, I change as well, but I change for the better ( I hope) he he . Becoming a whole person I was not before. I tried to evolve to this person full of life and gratitude of of the world. Thanking God for every little things God presented to me although something felt selfish but I am internally grateful. The only thing we got to remember is to believe in ourselves and not to lose ground. Always be grounded and learn through our mistakes, and pray that god guided us everyday to serve him well.
