Do KL'iens changes...

Before i moved to KL, Alot of my friends in Bintulu said that those people who got transfer to Kl soon forget and drifted them self from them once they moved to KL without any reasons, when ever they asked to meet they would have all this reasons not to meet.

It had me thinking..... and hard. Then when i came here, with all the hustle and bustle on KL, soon i realise that maybe it was not their choice.

I guess it boils down to MONEY. Yelah how much do u earn with as a Government Officerkan. With all the commitments , the house, the car, the loan, the student loan some other means, one barely makes end meet.

Then, just imagine i heard from my cousin who is working down in Putrajaya now, he said that he got people in KK coming almost 3 times a week, and he have to pick up from the airport and drive them to thier destination and back to the airport again. Fuh.. just imagine with a MYV it took u around RM 50.00 to the airprt and back at not including going round sh oping.

I know its not much for one person but just imagine if u have to pick up around 3-4 person per week, how much would it cost ya. Pengsan jugak kan, but i guess it really never occur to those people yang datang sebab they only comes once in a blue moon and they have an advance budget for it. No wonderlah orang kat kl ni susah kan. Not only they have to jaga kawan lagi, have to jaga pocket lagi, but then again pocket kita ni siapa yang tau kan.

I know when i was in Bintulu, things were okay coz u hardly spend money and i got to go to KL once a while and miri once a month, tapi kan in KL each road u take .. the toll is just around the corner and one spend almost 10-20 ringgit for toll alone, that is not including ur petrol and parking fee.

So my guess is , its not the people in KL changes kawan kawan, but its the economy pressure.

I remember when i first came here, my friends who came here earlier deserted me when i needed them the most, ada je alasan diorang. I was dissapointed and angry with them. Then my sister told me, maybe they got their reasons that u might not know. Maybe its family problems or maybe its financial problems u wouldn't know, but at that time i was so angry ... i just shut down. Now.... looking back and seing the present i realise how true she was. I guess other people will never know how much problem we have personally, but then again who can read minds kan.

Life at 40.. Que sera sera

A friend of mine called me up today expressing about his life, how time goes by very fast and that there is no turning back.

All i could tell him is that , you gonna have to be true to urself and ask urself what do u want in life, then the riddles will be answered. At the age of 40, sometimes i don't even know what i want and how to get it ahaks. Last night talking to diding gives me something to ponder very deeply, she told me a friend of her went overseas to pursue her studies in Law and when she came back work for a months , she got married and become a full time house wife.

So instead helping her family financially and let her parents retire, the parents have continue thier normal duties selling vege at the flee market. KESIAN JUGAK KAN. So as diding said ,.. so u see , there is no guarantee for the future.

Kadang tu kan, scary jugak to think what will my future lies....... well que sera sera

I bet all of u we're wondering, apo kono si Allan ni .. saying that he is 28.

The Vice Dean of Student affairs insisted that i handle it myself ( whats on ur mind dude... i am so new in the faculty .. and yet. aku jugak di suruh.

Anyway, they came at 3pm from UPM Head Office str8 to our faculty. When they arrive we greeted them and str8 go to the seminar room for some breifings ( funny coz normally in Bintulu the Admin Officer would do this but here.. aku!! the Agriculture Officer.

We started off giving a slight brief info about the University as whole and our own faculty and right after that we played the Univesity Corporate video ( Nasib baik, kalau tak, pengsanlah aku kena becakap 2-3 jam none stop).

The C.V. lasted for almost 1/2 hour and after that i gave a eloborated introduction on our University and our faculty as a whole. Intruducing what are the courses available for the students to see and what are the minimum qualification.

Right after my eloborated talk and our q & A session we had tea and proceed to visit some of the lecture halls and laboratory we have in the faculty. One of the aso aso teachers was talking to lavishly about her time in UPM ( nak bagi taulah yang dia ni dari u JUGAK.. She's from serdang too btw.

As she was talking i budge in and loop in tru the conversation and she ask me " En allan orang mana , Sarawak or Sabah" YEA rite with all the Sabanjung i did she still notice i'm a borneon.. hehe. sial. She said ada kelat sabah sikit. hehe, what can i do.

The she ask me a question.. The she asked me a very funny question.

Teacher: U How old ya... Let me guess 28 ke..

Tak sangka sangat kan.. ingat baru 28 je macam tu... i biasa when it comes to age i normally betul tau.
