ROMA 2

This is my second entry on Rome and my last one, coz mostly all the pictures are practically the same just that model model yang berbeza. Next week i'm coming back to Sabah for a Seminar on Malaysian Promotion Standard -crop commodities ( GOOD AGRICULTURE PRACTICE) and one good thing about it is my couse is on the 13 and i suppose to fly off to Bintulu on the 14 unfortunately there is no empty flight on the 14 until the 15 so ingat ingat baik aku balik Tawau ... so Next week i will coming back to Tawau for 2 days ( kerajaan tanggung) and then be back to Bintulu on the 15th.

So back to Rome...
Temperature : 17 degress celcius ( sesejuk rasalah)
Very dense with Young beautiful people plus some old ones too.
Language : Italiano....
Food: Practically are expensive ( if you buat conversion lah).. mostly are either pizza, spag and bread with ham. with cause you around 7-8 euros per meal ,... mahalkan dah dalam RM 40.00 sekali ngap... tapi normally we i would share with Carlina or Diding so jimatlah sikit.. ala ala makan pizza setengah ada RM 20.00 masih mahal jugak kan. Pai always say" jangan convert Allan " tapi one cannot help it coz we are earning here in Mesiakan. Not in London like my sista.

This was after we come out from the church where me Diding and Carlina manage to follow the mass... wahhhh haji and hajjah already we olllsssss...

This is one the Church near Termini... Dari luar nampak buruk sangat then when you go in... Ternga-nga HAMBEK kau. I manage to pause a prayer to God for wonderful things happening in my lfe including this trip and to all the passed souls family (thanks toto for reminding me). He he you know when i prayed, toto always remind me to pray for our family that passed away. Bagus jugak sista aku ni. hehehe.

This is the Post Office in rome. Sempat jugak i kirim a postcard to my friends in Bintulu, Nonoy and Nanay , Inday although we forgot her address , tapi yang bestnye i sampai dulu before my post card.

This is me and Carlina ... looking at an Olive tree.. Bitter taste , just wonder how they processed it to become oil . ... But its a beautiful tree macam bonzai pulak.



FYI for those yang dapat baju, gelang-gelang and other eksesori, disinilah tempat kami beli tu. Includinglah my Soroski cross. Chip chip but not axactly cheaplah as compared to Mesia.

This is Rome station bus ala ala macam Central station Kat KL tu lah. Very efficient mode of transportation, but very crowded.

This is one of the italian shops we buy our breakfast and lunch... tengok tu ham .. MASARAP.

it cost only nearly 3 euro for a snack. dah RM 15.00 , adus mahal jugak, kalau KFC kenyang dah kita kan.

As i mentioned before this is one to the designer shops in Rome.. Amazingly beautiful and hexpensive.

Disinilah jugak Diding bought her RM 1000.00 prada Sunglass. adus mahalnya.

P.s. For me Rome is one of the most beautiful country i ever been.. nice weather and historic and religious place. Actually there's alot more places to visit tapi mau tercabut our kaki. penat

Places of Interest.

The Vatican .

It has been the resident of the Popes for about six centuries ( since 1377). In fact , before the transfer of the Pontificial Court to Avignon (1309 – 1377), the papal seat was the lanteran, 265 Popes have sat one the throne of St. Peter in the uninterrupted line. The Vatican city is an independent state ruled by the Supreme pontiff ( the Pope).

St Peter’s Basalica

Dates of the year 320 AD, when Constantine erected a magnificent Basilica that was the stand for over a thousand years. At the beginning the XVI century thanks to Pope Julius II and the architect on whom he relied ( Donata Bramante) reconstructing of the Basilica was begun. It was completed over one hundred years later with the construction of the façade by Carlo Maderno ( 1614)

St Peter’s Square. ( Piazza San Pietro)

This square, which is the most imposing in Rome, is 240 meters wide by 340 meters long, In the centre stands a wonderful obelisk 25 meters high. A cross, which is said to contain the relic of the holy cross, stand on its top the beautiful colonnade that surrounds the place was realized by Bernini as well as the 140 statues of Saints that

This is one of my Paparazi pics of one of the Priest. He is actually going back from the nearest town which situated sorrounding the city. There were a few occasian where we asked if we could take some pictures with them but all of them refuse, i guess its prohibit by the Church. Thats y i told Diding, i want to buy the tailored robe, so siapa nak amik gambar bayar 5 Euros. Mesti kaya aku by that time boleh beli Kristal Sorosky lagi kan.

The Roman Forum. (Foro Romano)

The Roman Forum is the most celebrated place in ancient Rome, It was the centre of the Roman life where its meeting, festivals and ceremonies took place. There are to be seen the remains of the ancient temples of the ages. It was damaged my be fire in 283 and restored by the Emperor Diocletian. From the fourth century AD it becan fall in decay – echoing the fate of Rome itself.

P.S. This is another landmark of Rome.. This place is surrounded my the Olive tree which was believed a present from the Roman Gods... one for its ability as food, 2. for fuel 3. for phamaceutical, 4. massage oil 5. essential oil and many more. It was also believe that Olive oil cures many disease .. and it turned out to be true kan because it reduces heart problems, betul kan Inday. BTW is the nearby to the colesseum ... maybe lepas kena punish the slaves will be brought to the colesseum to fight kan.

The Colesseum.(II Colesseo)

This immense amphitheatre, of which is still admired the ancient splendour, was begun by Vespasian in A.D. 72 and finished by his son Titus in AD 80. Jewish prisoner were employed in its construction. Its real name is “ Flavian Amphi-theatre”, and it could contain more than 50,000 spectator. Around the exterior run three order arches, respectively adorned with Doric, Ionic and Corinthian pilasters.

P.s. One good thing about the public transportation in Rome is that the exit is not far away from the nearest Landmark of Monuments. When we reach at the coleseo exit the first thing you notice is this big old building and by the time you step out you can see the beutiful big and magnifico building. Semua ternga nga masa tu. I got chills looking at it as all this while i look at it from pictures and documentaries but now its in front of my eyessssssssssss. ahhhhhhhh breathtaking sangat. I suggest for everybody to visit this.... honest you got the chills..

When we reach there another tourist inform us that the entrance fee is around 11 euros but comes to about RM 55.00 adus mahal tak payahlah, so we oll just took some pictures from the outside.

Trinita dei monti

The first thing that strikes us are the charming monumental steps (1722) at whose top there is the church of SS Trinita Dei Monti with the two beautiful belfries ( 1495). An Obelist, found in the garden of sallust in 1808, rises in front the church. At the foot of the steps, prettily lies the fine fountain of the Barcaccia erected in 1629 by Pietro Bernini , the father of the sculptor and architect Gian Lorenzo.

P.S. Ramai sangat orang kat sini loafting around ... enjoying the sun and crowd. We also got to see some low budget movies in progress hehehe and if you climb up the stairs there is a beautiful chuch overlooking the whole of Rome city, there are some local artist selling some paintings and some Bangladeshi jual cenderahati ( yesssssss bangla pun ada kat sana) kelas bangla ni. Nearby is some designer shops later i will post some of the pictures.. kedai pun kelas ... i like.

Funny story in Trafagal square

This incident happen on our second day in London, well i don't know if this is funny for everyone but if you are there with us sakit perut ketawa. hahaha.

Well... after Westminster where they have the Big Ben my sister told us that we should head of to this street where you can see more beautiful buildings and monuments. Truly enough it is, and the far end the trafagal square ( pic kat bawah tu). Trafagal square is like a big plaza where people use to hang out and its a part of the tourist attraction.

If you pernah main Monopoly one of the station is Trafagal square ( inilah tempat dia pulak). One of the main attraction in Trafagal square is this monument with 2 big Lion of both sides, and you can see all this tourist riding on it taking pictures.

So me, boboy and Diding pun climb up the monument ( Andy and Carlina tak nak... kenapa ya, maybe takut orrr.... heavy opssss ampun tuanku). When we were at the monument taking pictures my sister ask us to climb up the lion to take pictures but entah macam mana it seems so hard to climb up. Dahlah licin the lion is made of bronze and its cold ( taulah orang Mesia tak tahan sejukkan). Boboy try to climb up even after accesive pushing from the butt tapi tak naik naik jugak.

All of us start laughing and then finally took our pictures at the lions butt je.. Punyalah taulah dah senja-senja macam ni tulang berat kau... then out of the blue boboy manage to crqwl in front of the Lion and called from anyone to took his pictures but his mom was nowhere to be found because all of us gave our camera to her.... The boboy said... Eiiiii mana si mummy ni...

After that he merajuk again..........sekejap. This boy always merajuk one.

REST IN PEACE (RIP)

Hafter we arrive in Heatrow London and str8 to Lewisham , where my sister resides, the next morning day was a big day to all of us because we got to see London for the first time. The rest of the gang was so sexcited to see the Big Ben ( sob sob ~ we finally arrive after 4 months of preparation).

The funny thing happen before we reach home late last night my nephew Boboy asked me if i want to visit the grave nearby to thier house. Mula tu pelik jugak kenapalah si Boboy ni ajak p grave yard but i did promise him so early the next morning we went to the nearby graveyard. GOTHIC Betul my nephew ni, with him and the sister black is the in thing and if you want to buy something for him make sure its black plus a skeleton.

Fuhhhhhhhh.. i bet some of the peps in Lewisham never been there as well, including Me sista and both her Brunein housemate .. kan Pai. Tapi the scenary was calming...beautiful and breathaking again. Tapi memang cantik with all the old trees and the beautiful grave. The trees and the grass are green and the chill makes you wonder.. mesti orang yang meninggal pun seronokkan.

LONDON LONDON LONDON Aka fergie

We Flew from Brunei Darulsalam at 2100 hours via Dubai and it took like 16 hours to London. 8 hours from Brunei to Dubai and then another 7.5 hours from Dubai to London. At first the long journey was fun considering that all of us are new but soon it does took a tax in our lives.

Its painful sitting in a chair without any entertainment ( aka our front view tv is not working) , but the food keep us going kan Hendrico, and the snoring wow .. it keeps me awake too. hehehe.

But the flight attendant was okay and keep on telling us that they are going to change our seat once we reach Dubai ( yea rite)

This is when we arrive, tired but excited.

My sister came after an hour from Lewisham and it took another around 2 hours to reach home. but the ride home was fun ... listening to some Black girls with their English accent. But the thing that really struct us was riding in the 2 decker red bus.

This is the time kami lepak like most of the omputeh makan mee goreng from home. hehehe sedap jugak makan mee kosong time sejuk sejuk. walhal semua orang makan burger , hotdog and here we are eating our packed food ... who cares yang penting jimat duit kan.

of courselah kan .. its the National Galery for Christ sake very lah aku ni bodoh tanya soalan yang tak perlu di tanya hehehe. tapi honestly the painting was breathaking and we got to buy some imprints for 6 pound each. The funny thing was all of us bought the same painting. Very the semua ikut ikut .......... buta seni kan hehehe. ops ampunkan saya tuanku.

Ola,,... sorry for not updating, i just came back from Paris... OH Paris .. macam tak sangka pulak sampai ke PARIS jumpa the Ifeal Tower. So this is just the intro to all the many pictures I'm going to post. Seronokkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.

2 days and counting

Adus, i just a new back home ( not so good news) but luckyly nobody's hurt.

Tomorrow will be Hari raya and i'm going to Miri. So far tak ada lagi jemputan untuk ke rumah my staf, maybe its because they thought that im going off the very same day. AKU NAK MAKAN.... LAH jemputlah aku hehehe. Tapi kalau tak pun its okay, i think i'm going to miri slightly early , take my sweet time to drive.

So far, all my current bills, including Half of Hendrico's money because i asked him to exchange my money to pound and euro, tapi ada lagi balance yang belum solve... kan ND.

Last night i went to farlee to buy additional brief and stocking. Takut pulak habis underwear , terpaksa pulak pinjam my sister punya hehehe. Ops muat ke. The stocking i bought yesterday is the short type, tapi bolehlah. I ingat masa beli yang panjang nye.

All and all i am ready to go.
