A Big blow up.
I guess you would be wondering, whats the blow up araoundabout. hehe.
Lately my middle name is Urgency ... urgency to finish up the work.. urgency to do and finalise my store inventory and its getting on my nerves that my staff is taking things lightly.
I instructed staff to finish up with the inventory before the external audit came ( that would be on the 5th Nov) but he's kinda like talking his sweet time doing it. The problem is, I've asked him to finish it almost 2 month now but he keeps on delaying it and my store is still the same old and Topsy turvy store as it was before i came in.
So yesterday i take my initiative to rerecord back all the inventory and made all the items label even laminating it ( that's how urgent i need to finish it), and when my staff finds out i did all that, he just took it from me and do nothing. Ahhhhhhhh geramnye aku.
Then this morning , i was expecting him to do the tagging and to rearrange the store , he went away for raya celebration and he is no where to be found. I keep my temper and i help up with the upkeeping of my store and he finally came in at around 10 am ( siapa tak geram) and he said he already inform my other staff about it which i wasn't told ( sial betul).
That was okay, i can still handle it and we finally finish rearranging and tagging at around 12.30 am and yang best nye pulak, my staf yang datang lewat ni , went home earlier than me. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ..
We still haven't finish yet cos we still need to rearrange the chemical room but we have to postpone it coz everybody went back home. So after lunch i came back and found nobodys around. I came in, do the rearrangement myself and then he came in at around 3 pm and his reason is nak pergi sembahyang. BULL SHIT, orang lain pun solat jugak, tapi taklah sampai jam 3.
Then i had a big blow up .. my temper went upstairs hehe I told them that i was very disappointed with their behaviour... MARAH NI . .. marah sangat. They ware quiet maybe they know that im mad ( i ni jarang marah.. tapi kalau dah marah.. pengsan). Then my staff ( yang male ni lah) told me that dia tak ada initiative kerja coz he heard lately that i was not happy with his work. That he felt very down going to work coz all he did is just not enough for me. OKKKKKKKKK i may have something to do with it coz lately i been buzzing to my other staff that i was not satisfy with his performance. He said that i should have been more direct in what i want and expect.. hasn't i been more direct??? i asked him like 2 months ago to finish the inventory and until now its not done.
So after we talk and discuss ( itu pun lepas dengar aku marah), i told them, i do apologise for what ever things that they are not happy about me but i only expect that they do thier work and i am fine with that. I hope so that my boy will shape a little up so that my work will be lighter. Penat ohhhhh marah marah ni, i don't like. I've promise myself that i will be more tolerant to my staff right after i quit my job in the Oil Palm Plantation.
You should see me before ... when i was working in the plantation.. i was the cruelest person on earth. I even shouted at my mandore(my head gang) telling her that she is worthless. I could click just like that and be a raging bull, but not anymore. Nowadays i do things politically but sometimes......... if things go out of hand i will be a small raging bull too. hehe. tu pun jarang je. Normally i am a jolly person.
Now this feels good. .. letting it out of my chest. ahhhhhhhhh blogging is a teraphy.

An inch too Long
Last night i was looking at The Oprah show and i discover new things.
Recent study said that you gain an inch of penis length every 35 pound u shed.... wow is this true, well oviously Dr. Oz said so. So girls look for Skinny guys hehe, and big guys reduce ur weight , an inch is alot ohoooooo. hehe.

Dining room vs Kitchen.
Last Sunday i was busy at home with my gadget ( my drill, screw driver and hammer) putting my shelves rack. hehe i borrowed my sisters driller which she never use ( coz dia cakap susah nak pakai berat). So dengan kudrat aku hehe i manage to put up 3 rack, 2 in my kitchen and one in my store room.
I never thought that a driller would be so handy and easy coz i always think that its a very difficult thing to use, but after using and drilling my house.... walla senang pulak.
Thats my new Dining room plus the new lights i bought for on RM 30.00 hehe after i cakap ala ala indon with the indonesian sales girl and convince her that i am a bugis dapat discount 50% hehe seronok.

This is my new kitchen vs my dining room just put up the rack. ( penat ooooo pasang sendiri tu) hehe I never knew that the driller would be so easy to handle. hehe. pandai pulak aku kan.

Imagine there is a blind between the room ... that will be my next project.

A Syawal Celebration.
Last week on the 18th October 2008 is our Hari Raya Celebration for our faculty. Traditionally every year in Bintulu the campus would have a raya celebration as well and being the person that i am ( malas) hehe i would only help with the decoration especially for my Department, but this year i have to organize it for the whole faculty consisting of around 150 staf altogether.
Penat juga just imagine not budget towards this coz in Bintulu the University use to sponsor all of this but its different here in Serdang coz the Comitee have to think of finding the money and sponsporship ( tapi no hallah sebab its a little bit easier here to find sponsors)
Oh one more thing have have arange to do some karaoke session but the dean was not very keen on that so we have to call it off. Penat aku suruh Andy hantar CD tagalog ke KL ni apooooooooo.
Anyway the celebration is okay, some games and a lot of hampers. Tu lah yang staf suke tu. hehe.

Yang berbahagia Dekan Fakulti …., Timbalan-Tibalan Dekan…, Ketua-ketua jabatan, Pegawai-pegawai Akademik dan bukan akademik, tuan-tuan dan puan-puan dan rakan-rakan sekalian.
Selamat datang & Salam syawal saya ucapkan. Saya rasa tidak lewat bagi saya mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri kepada semua. Hari ini adalah hari untuk kita bersama merayakan aidilfitri diperingkat fakulti dengan sederhana tetapi dengan penuh kesyukuran.
Sambutan hari raya pada peringkat Fakulti ini adalah aktiviti pertama Ahli Jawatan Kuasa yang baharu di lantik. Ianya di adakan untuk menyambut hari raya yang dengan harapan ianya dapat menjalin persabatan yang lebih erat , saling kenal mengenal and saling maaf memaafi antara satu dengan yang lain.
Walaupun sambutan kali ini agak sederhana, tetapi banyak kerja dan persediaan telah dibuat oleh AJK mulai dari perbincangan sehinggalah kerja memasang pentas , persediaan banner dan banyak lagi. Di kesempatan ini saya ingin mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada AJK saya yang telah menyumbang banyak tenaga, kreativiti dan masa untuk menjayakan sambutan ini. Setiap titik peluh yang tuan-tuan dan puan-puan taburkan amat saya hargai.
Tahun ini adalah tahun pertama saya merayakan Aidilfitri di OPS.. Serdang dan FPP khasnya, banyak perbezaannya daripada tahun-tahun lepas tetapi saya pasti kemeriahan itu di mana-mana selagi kita bersatu , mengenali antara satu dengan yang lain dan yang paling penting saling hormat menghormati.
Akhir kata daripada saya , selamat hari raya Aidilfirtri , Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Berilah sokongan yang padu kepada kami AJK yang baru di lantik dan kami menjanjikan aktiviti yang lebih besar meriah di masa-masa akan datang. Semoga tuan-tuan dan puan-puan bergembira dengan sajian dan persembahan yang telah disediakan.

why do we gain weight
Weight gain is so complicated; there are so many factors that can impact your weight. It is more likely a combination of things more than just one factor," explains Michelle May, MD, author of Am I Hungry? What to Do When Diets Don't Work.
Here are five factors that can cause the scale to creep up when you least expect it.

1. You Might Be Gaining Weight Because of Lack of Sleep
The body functions best when well rested. "When you don't get enough sleep, your body experiences physiological stress and, biochemically, you store fat more efficiently," says May.
When you're tired, you also don't handle stress as well, so you may reach for food as a coping mechanism. Further, you may be taking in extra calories from late-night snacking. Some people think eating might help them get back to sleep, but all it really does is add more calories to their daily total.
Symptoms that you may not be getting enough rest include fatigue, low energy levels, nodding off easily, and feeling irritable.
Strive to get eight hours of sleep each night.
"Add about 15 minutes to your bedtime and see how you feel," suggests May. "Continue to experiment with additional 15-minute increments until you find the ... amount of sleep that is right for you."
When you develop good sleeping rituals and get regular exercise, you sleep better, she adds.
2. You May Be Gaining Weight Because of Stress
We live in a society that demands we do more, be more, and achieve more. Stress moves us forward and helps cope with life's demands, but it also affects our mood and emotions.
"Stress response, whether it is 'fight-or-flight,' juggling too many responsibilities, or coping with financial pressures, triggers a biochemical process where our bodies go into survival mode," explains May. "Our bodies store fuel, slow down metabolism, and dump out chemicals [cortisol, leptin, and other hormones] which are more likely to cause ... obesity in the abdominal region."
Many people reach for food to help ease the stress. But, of course, this doesn't work in the long run.
"Food is a temporary fix because it does not deal with the real stressors that must be addressed in order to reduce the trigger for eating and fix the problem," says May.
Susan Bowerman, MS, RD, assistant director of the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition, says stress eaters tend to prefer high-carbohydrate foods because these foods trigger an increase in the brain chemical serotonin, which has a calming effect. "It is almost like self-medicating," she says. "Many people binge on starchy foods to make themselves feel better."
Both May and Bowerman recommend relaxation techniques as well as exercise, which also burns calories and provides other health benefits.
3. You May Be Gaining Weight Because of Medications
Some prescription drugs used to treat depression, mood disorders, seizures, migraines, blood pressure, and diabetes can cause weight gain, from a modest amount to as much as 10 pounds per month. Some steroids, hormone replacement therapy, and even oral contraceptives may also cause gradual weight creep. Your medicine cabinet might be the cause of your weight gain if you've gained 5 or more pounds in a month without a change in your lifestyle.
"Every drug works a little differently to cause weight gain, from increasing appetite, altering the way fat is stored, to how insulin levels change," says May. "And not all drugs have the same side effects on all people."
In the case of antidepressants, weight gain may not even be related to the action of the drug -- feeling better can also result in a heartier appetite. Some drugs can cause fluid retention that shows up on the scale as weight gain, but is not fat, and is usually easily corrected.
Experts say that some of the most common types of medications that may cause weight gain are:
Steroids
Antidepressants
Antipsychotics
Antiseizure medications
Diabetes medications
High blood pressure medications
Heartburn medications
But it's important to remember that a few extra pounds may be well worth the trade-off of what a particular medication does for your overall health, experts say. Further, even if your medications are the cause of your weight gain, you still need to be mindful of eating a healthy diet and getting regular exercise.
"Rarely is the problem solved with a change in meds," says May. "These things can contribute, but rarely are the sole cause of the weight gain."
If you suspect your medication is causing weight gain, talk to your health care provider to see about changing your prescription. But whatever you do, don't go off your medication without seeking medical advice.
"There could be very serious consequences if you stop taking your medication without consulting your physician," says May.
4. You May Be Gaining Weight Because of a Medical Condition
The most common medical condition that causes weight gain is hypothyroidism. A deficiency of thyroid hormone can decrease metabolism, causing appetite loss and weight gain.
"If you are feeling fatigued, lethargic, swelling, hoarse voice, intolerance to cold, sleeping too much, or headaches, you should see your doctor for an easy test to determine if you have hypothyroidism," says May.
Much rarer is a condition known as Cushing's syndrome -- a disorder caused by an excess of the hormone cortisol -- that can also result in weight gain.

Women reach menopause at a range of ages, but most are in midlife and are often less physically active than when they were younger. Along with aging comes a natural slowing of metabolism. At the same time, hormonal changes can trigger hunger, depression, and poor sleep.
"It is multifactoral. When women go through menopause, they lose estrogen, causing their shapes to change -- usually a loss of hip and thigh weight. And they start to gain more in the middle," says Bowerman. She explains that estrogen favors fat deposition in the lower body, and when you lose this hormone, fat is more likely to be deposited in the midsection (much like men). This spare tire around the middle has been not so affectionately called the "menopot."
The key to avoiding this extra belly fat is to maintain and increase the amount of lean body mass, which will, in turn, increase your metabolism or calorie burn rate.
"Women need to understand how critically important weight lifting and strength training is to their health," says Bowerman. And don't worry, doing strength training won't make women muscle-bound, experts say.
Exercise also helps offset bone loss that can come with menopause. A combination of exercise and a healthy, calorie-controlled diet rich in calcium and vitamin D is the answer to thwarting menopausal weight gain.

"It is multifactoral. When women go through menopause, they lose estrogen, causing their shapes to change -- usually a loss of hip and thigh weight. And they start to gain more in the middle," says Bowerman. She explains that estrogen favors fat deposition in the lower body, and when you lose this hormone, fat is more likely to be deposited in the midsection (much like men). This spare tire around the middle has been not so affectionately called the "menopot."
The key to avoiding this extra belly fat is to maintain and increase the amount of lean body mass, which will, in turn, increase your metabolism or calorie burn rate.
"Women need to understand how critically important weight lifting and strength training is to their health," says Bowerman. And don't worry, doing strength training won't make women muscle-bound, experts say.
Exercise also helps offset bone loss that can come with menopause. A combination of exercise and a healthy, calorie-controlled diet rich in calcium and vitamin D is the answer to thwarting menopausal weight gain.

LENU AND HER GIOCOMO
Yesterday lenu called me up midday asking me if im free in the afternoon. I was a little bit bz with the Jamuan raya coming up but ....... as a good and loyal friend i made an effort to squeeze her in my buzy schedule.
She said she wanted to buy knives and dish ware. So she came at around 4 pm and we head off to balakong to the Giocomo warehouse. Sometimes it puzzle me coz my lady friend including my sisters have a hard time picking up what colour and type of things they want to buy. Imagine this is the second time lenu came and finally bought something. She bought a set of dishes , a set of knives , a set of wine glass ( ops untuk apa tu.. minum wine ka kita ahaks) and then a set of soft drind glasses.
Oklah she spend almostRM 320.00 for that and soon after we drove off terus dia senyum, puas hati dia cakap.. akkkkk ohhhhhh padahal dia ni shopping addict, samalah dengan kawan aku si Carlina, my niece diding and some other friends yang kuat berbelanja ini termasuklah my sisters ( i'm not mentioning names ya ) hehe, unlike my friend Salya yang kena belek barang sampai 15 kali baru beli. hehee. kan salya.
So do u think shopping is an addiction i guess so, coz i got alot of friends and relatives like that. I was a shop addict before but now i think twice before i buy coz , i would ask myself would that be economical to buy and would it be kind for me to buy it. Then if the answer is yes then i buy. ( amboi yelah tu kan) but i do digest alot before i buy.
